I admit, that day was a while ago it’s just that I realized that I needed more time that I had. But isn’t that what most of us need a 30 hour day, to get everything done that you originally planned? Could be good and bad, but in a city like New York time is renownedly money. So this day six in the city we fell in love with:
Grand Central Station. Impressive if you see it in pictures, overwhelming if you’re actually there. People trying to get to their destinations. A lot of natural light… I’m not surprised that you can see this location in so many movies and magazines.
beautiful day. That’s the thing a picture can do. If I wouldn’t tell you that I suffered so much sitting on these steps because they were SO cold, you could assume that it was a nice day. It was a little chilly (I was surprised that I didn’t have problems getting up, I was not frozen solid to the ground!) But anyways: The steps of the Met, home of the Upper East Siders and pretty much every other person in this world, whos interested in culture.
contemporary art wing. The museum isn’t famous for that (this is why the MoMA is only a few blocks away) but they still have a nice collection.
It was a good day, there’s no way that you can see everything within a day, but we tried to cover as much as we could and mostly what interested us. A nice exibition was “Picture Editing before Photoshop” pictures from before people even thought about the crazy idea of inventing something like computers. Love always, x
